- Designed the full kitchen from a clean-slate room
- Drew the layout, then the homeowners moved the window and extended the fridge wall to match the design
- Built every cabinet from scratch — solid birch boxes with dovetailed drawers
- Fitted Blum MOVENTO soft-close undermount slides and Blum soft-close hinges throughout
- Built a full pantry wall with a bar area, glass-door uppers, and integrated LED lighting
- Added an appliance garage to keep the counters clear
- Built in a drawer microwave, hidden in the cabinetry
- Worked extra storage into the back of the island
- Built a custom pull-out unit for garbage and recycling
- Ran an integrated under-cabinet lighting system
- Finished in a rich emerald with brushed gold accents and full custom crown moulding
- Installed the complete kitchen on site in four days
We Designed It First — Then Moved the Walls to Match
A custom kitchen is decided on paper before it's decided on site. Here's the part of this job that made everything else fit.
Moving the window and the fridge wall to the design
The room was a clean slate, so instead of working around what was already there, we designed the kitchen we wanted first — the full layout drawn in detail before a single cabinet was cut.
That design needed the window in a different spot and the fridge wall extended. The homeowners made both changes to the exact positions we drew. Because the structure was set to the plan, every cabinet landed where it was supposed to — and the on-site install took just four days, with no shimming around surprises and no rework.
Where It Began — a Blank Room, Drawn in Full
A clean-slate space and a complete set of drawings. Before any cabinet was built, we designed the whole kitchen and mapped the two structural changes the layout needed — the window and the fridge wall.
